What is the inspiration behind your derby name?
I’m a musician by trade so wanted to choose a name which had a musical side to it! The fury bit is just funny to me cos I’m rarely furious…

What’s the inspiration behind your number?
Music again! 808 is a drum machine

How did you first discover roller derby / what convinced you to join?
I was at the wedding of Elasta Plasta and Rogers and there were lots of  NRG skaters there and talking to them encouraged me to give it a go.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to get involved with their local team?
Do it! It’s a great experience which challenges you mentally and physically and you’ll meet some of the loveliest people around. Also being on rollerskates is fun!
