EuroClash 2026 – Team Line-Up!

We’re beyond excited to welcome some of the top roller derby teams from across Europe and the UK to EuroClash 2026, hosted by Newcastle Roller Derby at the Walker Activity Dome! It’s going to be two full days of unforgettable derby action you won’t want to miss.

   

Bear City Roller Derby — Berlin, Germany

Hailing from Berlin, Bear City Roller Derby is one of Germany’s most established and respected leagues. Founded in 2008 as the Berlin Bombshells, they quickly grew into a powerhouse in European roller derby and became the first full WFTDA member league in continental Europe. With multiple competitive travel teams (Wallstars, Wallbreakers, and Breaking Bears), they bring experience and grit to every bout.

 

Göteborg Roller Derby — Gothenburg, Sweden

Out of Sweden’s second-largest city, Göteborg Roller Derby has been rolling since 2009 and is a proud member of the WFTDA. Known for its strong team ethos and hardworking skaters, Göteborg has competed nationally and internationally, showcasing Swedish derby talent with heart and hustle on the flat track.

 

Lomme Roller Derby — Lomme/Lille, France

Representing northern France, Lomme Roller Derby started in 2012 and has rapidly become a competitive force in European derby. With their A-team Bad Bunnies skating in the French Elite division and gaining recognition across Europe, they blend tactical shows of speed and strategy with a passionate derby community behind them.

 

Tiger Bay Brawlers — Cardiff, Wales, UK

The Tiger Bay Brawlers are Wales’ premier flat-track league, founded in 2010 and based in Cardiff. A competitive WFTDA member league, they’ve been trailblazers for derby in Wales—playing internationally and even featuring in documentaries that spotlight their journey and spirit. Expect fierce Welsh determination and skilful skating from this team!

 

The Canny Belters— Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, UK

Your hosts! Newcastle Roller Derby was established in 2009, and has two travel teams, the Canny Belters and the Whippin’ Hinnies, as well as three home teams. A long-standing member of the WFTDA, the Canny Belters are buzzing to be bringing European roller derby back to Newcastle with some exciting match ups as the deadline for regional playoffs approaches!
