First the lads at Tyne and Fear’s Inglorious B*Stars play Sheffield’s The Inhuman League, then our Whippin’ Hinnies take on The Royal Swedish Roller Derby.

Our next home game is a double header with Tyne and Fear: NRG’s Canny Belters play Leeds Roller Dolls Rebel Roses, and T&F’s Inglorious B*Stars will play Lincolnshire Rolling Thunder B.
Pub quiz fundraiser – help us get to Beach Brawl!
Like a good pub quiz? Come along to our quiz night on April 10: you can show off your knowledge, win amazing prizes, and help us fundraise for our trip to Florida!
Newcastle Roller Girls’ Canny Belters will be heading to the USA in May, to compete at Beach Brawl in Florida.
It’s a really big deal for us – we’ll be playing against high level teams (from the country that invented roller derby!) and a strong performance could massively boost our global rankings.
We want to send our strongest team and not exclude talented skaters due to financial restraints, so we’re on a fundraising mission…
…and our next event is a pub quiz!
On Sunday 10 April 2016 we’re hosting a pub quiz at The Ware Rooms Bar in central Newcastle.
It’s a regular general knowledge quiz (so you’re not disadvantaged if you don’t play roller derby!) and there are some fantastic prizes to win:
- 2 x FIRST CLASS tickets to/from any East Coast station, courtesy of Virgin Trains
- Tickets for The Stand Comedy Club
- Tickets to Opening Skinner’s Box at Northern Stage
- Tickets to Newcastle Greyhound Stadium
- £50 beer voucher for The Northumberland Hussar
Entry is £2 per person, and you can have up to 5 people on a team.
